Trinity Barrister's Article Published in Journal of Licensing

Head of Trinity's Licensing team and Regulatory barrister, Charles Holland has written an article that has been published in the latest edition of the Journal of Licensing.

In the article entitled 'Is it really unlawful to conduct licensing hearings remotely?', Charles argues that remote licensing hearings continue to be lawful in England and indeed goes on to note that the same may be said of all local authority committee and sub-committee meetings.

The full article can be found here.

Charles is instructed in a wide range of complex licensing and regulatory matters by clients from across the country and is regularly recognised by the leading industry directories, recent entries include:

"Extremely knowledgeable about licensing matters." "Phenomenally bright." "He is very measured and personable and can be passionate but is always friendly and amiable"
Licensing, Chambers & Partners 2022

"He has an eye for detail, is not afraid of challenging situations and has a commercial approach to clients' needs"
Licensing, Legal 500 2021

As well as being a Consulting Editor of Paterson's Licensing Acts and an Assistant Editor of the Journal of Licensing, Charles also has his own blogging website that includes Licensing, Business and Property litigation updates that can be found here.
