Trinity Employment Law and Regulatory barrister, Andrew Crammond will be a guest speaker at the all day CLT Employment at Scots Law 2015 Conference to be held in Glasgow on 10th March 2015.
The conference comprises of a panel of high-profile speakers considering the most important current developments and their likely impact on those who practice in the employment field, whether lawyers or HR professionals.Chaired by Lindsey Cartwright of Morton Fraser, the panel will include Sean Jones QC, Professor David Hoey of Brechin Tindall Oatts, David Morgan from Burness Paull, Marie Macdonald of Miller Samuel, David Hossack of Morton Fraser and Andrew Crammond.
The programme for the day will cover the following:

Andrew will focus on professional disciplinary and regulatory proceedings involving health, care and social workers, including dealing with fitness to practise hearings. Whilst an experienced employment law practitioner instructed in cases involving equal pay, holiday pay claims, discrimination, unfair dismissal and TUPE, Andrew has a particular interest in, and represents Registrants who are the subject of professional disciplinary proceedings. Andrew represents clients at multi-day hearings where an individual’s fitness to practise is called into question. Andrew’s experience ranges from attending interim order hearings to representing individuals at contested fitness to practise hearings lasting several weeks.Adrew deals with a range of regulatory bodies including at the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
