Nicola Allan, specialist planning barrister at Trinity Chambers will be delivering a seminar to delegates attending a Planning and Localism Seminar at Durham County Council on 6th December 2012. The regional event is taking place at the Council Chamber, County Hall, Durham.
A wide range of speakers are attending the all-day event, covering various planning related topics including the new Code of Conduct, Predetermination, General Power of Competence, the National Planning Policy Framework and the Growth and Infrastructure Bill. The day will also include a Planning and Enforcement update. Nicola will be delivering a seminar focussing on Protected Habitats and Species.
Nicola, who as well as being a barrister is also a Chartered Town Planner, is a member of Chambers’ Judicial Review, Agricultural, Chancery and Regulatory practice groups and also heads Trinity’s Planning practice group. Whilst based at Trinity’s premises in Newcastle and Middlesbrough, Nicola acts for clients nationwide in all aspects of Planning including Appeals, Public Inquiries and Judicial Review on behalf of businesses, developers, individuals and Local Authorities. Nicola has also been appointed to the Attorney General's Regional Panel of Counsel.
