Criminal, Licensing and Regulatory specialist barrister at Trinity Chambers, Caroline Goodwin, will be a guest speaker at an annual conference to be delivered to medico- legal consultants at Ripley Castle commencing on 27th September 2012. 

Caroline has been asked to deliver a session on vulnerable witnesses and complainants and will be covering topics including practical arrangements surrounding special measures such as video links, use of intermediaries and managing mental health issues. The event will also examine the April 2011 Advocacy Training Council’s Report “Raising the Bar – Vulnerable Witnesses & Defendants”. The event will be attended by consultants from across the region specialising in the provision of medico legal reports and who regularly give evidence in court proceedings. 

Caroline Goodwin is a member of Trinity Barristers Chambers' CriminalRegulatory and Licensing practice groups. Caroline regularly delivers CPD accredited seminars and events to her solicitor clients, including the CPS, and experts as well as being heavily involved in mooting competitions and mock hearings and tribunals such as Coroner’s Inquests. Caroline, a Grade 4 Prosecutor, also sits as a Recorder. Whilst operating from Trinity's Chambers in Newcastle and Middlesbrough, Caroline deals with clients from across the UK.
