Trinity Barristers Guest Speakers at Employment Lawyers Association (ELA) North East Region Half Training Day

On Thursday 5th February 2026, members of Trinity's Employment Law team will be guest speakers at Employment Lawyers Association (ELA) North East Region Half Training Day to be held at the offices of Sintons LLP, The Cube, Barrack Road, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Taking place between 9.30am and 1.30pm and Chaired by Claire Rolston of CLR Law and ELA Regional Rep for the North East, the speakers and topics include the following:

Helen Hogben and Andrew CrammondHarassment in the workplace
Synopsis: Harassment in the workplace is an increasingly prevalent problem for employees and employers. This seminar aims to: (i) provide an update on some key and important matters of law relating to harassment in the workplace; and (ii) provide some practical guidance and tips on managing harassment in the workplace.

James McHugh and Jane CallanLimitation Issues
Synopsis: An update on the change in statutory guidance and recent appellate authorities on the approach to take when dealing with the issue of limitation.

Simon Goldberg K.C. and Richard Stubbs - Post Termination Restrictions and Confidential Information
Synopsis: A caselaw update and practitioner tips on the ever-moving world of restrictive covenants and confidential information.
