Trinity Chambers is delighted to be hosting two students as part of the Bar Council’s Placement Scheme. Raja Shayan and Muhammed Naeem (pictured L-R) commenced their placement at Trinity’s Custom House in Newcastle on 13th July 2026.
The Bar Placement Scheme offers school students from years 12 and 13, as well as first-year undergraduates, the chance to gain real-life insight into the day-to-day realities of being a barrister by shadowing Trinity barristers in Chambers and in Court. Placement students will also take part in advocacy training from the Inns of Court College of Advocacy.
The Bar Placement Scheme is delivered in partnership with Pathways to Law and the Social Mobility Foundation, together with support the Council of the Inns of Court, the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, and the four Inns of Court.
This is an important initiative that helps widen access to the profession while giving students the confidence to pursue a career at the Bar. Chambers is proud to play its part in supporting and inspiring the next generation of barristers.
