On Wednesday 3rd March 2021, Trinity Chambers will deliver a Property Law webinar focused on the difficulties faced by the retail and leisure sectors as a result of COVID-19.

The session, entitled "Whither the High Street?", will explore the challenges and opportunities for landlords and tenants when faced with restrictive covenants and other property rights when considering changes of use in the High Street. The webinar will examine whether changes to the General Permitted Development Order (GPDO) and the Use Classes Order (UCO), combined with recent case law, offers some assistance and relief to the troubled High Street.

In this free to attend Zoom webinar, a scenario based on a “real life” case will be analysed by Andrew Francis, Trinity door tenant – who will deal with the real property issues and Nicola Allan - who will cover the recent planning law changes and issues. Providing a practical perspective will be Managing Director of Radius Consulting and Dilap Solutions, Paul Raeburn, chartered surveyor, arbitrator and accredited mediator, who has seen first hand how commercial landlords and tenants have dealt with the challenges caused by Coronavirus.

The session commences at 3pm and is due to conclude by no later than 4.30pm, including time for questions.
