Trinity Chambers' members and staff look forward to hosting the Bar Standards Board North East Circuit regional roundtable on the evening of Thursday 2nd March 2023.
The evening forms part of a series of regional events delivered by the Chair of the BSB, Kathryn Stone OBE, alongside BSB Director General, Mark Neale, aimed at meeting and speaking with members of the bar across the country to hear their views and answer their questions.
The subject of the event is the role of chambers in promoting standards, equality and access in relation to the BSB’s 3 year strategic plan.
Kathryn Stone OBE, Chair of the BSB said the events are an opportunity to “discuss how best we can complement” the work of the Bar Council and other associations “in order to consolidate and promote best practice in chambers’ oversight of standards, equality and access."
The roundtable event commences at 6pm on Thursday 2nd March, concluding by 7.30pm and will take place at Trinity Chambers, The Custom House, Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3DE.
Attendees can join the meeting in person or via remote link. Bookings must be made directly through the BSB Communications team by emailing Communications@BarStandardsBoard.org.uk stating any dietary or access requirements by Friday 24 February 2023.
