Trinity Chambers Welcomes Anu Kaura & Oluwapelumi Amanda Adeola

Trinity's members and staff warmly welcome Anu Kaura and Oluwapelumi Amanda Adeola (pictured L-R) to Chambers.

Anu Kaura has over 20 years of legal expertise developed in a range of roles including as in-house counsel, in private practice, and consultancy. Anu was called to the Bar in 2000 undertaking the QLTT Solicitor Conversion in 2004, following which she went on to gain her Higher Rights of Audience in 2006. An experienced tribunal and court advocate, Anu specialises in corporate governance, commercial law, data protection, property law, employment law, and immigration law.

Outside of her busy day-to-day practice, throughout her career Anu has been heavily involved in a wide range of activities supporting the legal community locally and nationally including sitting as Chair of the Law Society In-House Division between May 2023 – Sept 2024, as well as Vice-Chair between 2019 and 2023. She is also a regular judge at the Northern Law Awards and has featured in the Northern Power Women List and Northern Asian Power List. Anu joins Chambers following her completion of the BSB's Bar Transfer course.

Oluwapelumi Amanda Adeola was admitted as a solicitor in 2009 going on to qualify as a Higher Rights solicitor-advocate in 2014. Her extensive private family practice focused on relationship breakdowns and financial remedy proceedings, where she conducted the majority of her own advocacy in the lower courts. She spent the latter five years as a Family Law Partner at a local law firm.

A member of Resolution, Oluwapelumi holds specialist accreditations in advocacy for private law children and financial remedy proceedings. With a passion for promoting access to justice, Oluwapelumi contributes to the legal community as a member of several committees, including the National Committee of Resolution, Resolution’s EDI and Law Reform committees and the Centre for Child and Family Law Reform. Oluwapelumi joins Chambers as a practising pupil, equivalent to completing a 'second-six'.

Commenting on her move to Chambers, Oluwapelumi said:
