Trinity Chambers Welcomes Five Pupil Barristers

The members and staff at Trinity Chambers warmly welcome five new pupil barristers who start their careers at the Bar this week. Trinity’s latest recruits are Matthew Turner, Jackson Brent, Emelia Boyle, Abigail Law and Oliver Tonkinson (pictured L- R).

Deputy Head of Trinity Chambers, Richard Stubbs said of the new joiners:

"I am delighted to see five pupils joining us to commence pupillages covering all of our wider practice areas and locations. It reflects Trinity's continued aim to strengthen in all of the areas in which we work, both geographically and by practice area.

I wish them all the best with their pupillages and am sure that they will do well. Trinity continues to aim to provide a high quality service to its clients across the North East and beyond - I look forward to our pupils' contributions to those efforts."

  • Matthew Turner joins the Civil team in Newcastle and will be supervised by Seth Kitson.
  • Jackson Brent joins the Family team in Middlesbrough and will be supervised by Rebecca Stokes-Herbst and Nicola Bowker.
  • Emelia Boyle joins the Criminal team in Newcastle and will be supervised by Josh Normanton.
  • Abigail Law joins the Family team in Newcastle and will be supervised by Rebecca Suttle.
  • Oliver Tonkinson joins the Civil team in Leeds and will be supervised by James Reckitt.
