Trinity Chambers Welcomes Two New Civil Clerks

Trinity's members and staff warmly welcome two new additions to Chambers' Civil clerking team. Molly Sinnott and Shannon Burns (pictured L-R) join as Junior Civil Clerks, strengthening the support provided to Chambers' growing and busy Civil practice groups.

Molly is a Newcastle University Law graduate with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Law with Media and Communications. Alongside her studies, she gained five years’ experience working in retail, developing interpersonal and organisational skills, invaluable in her new clerking role. Molly will primarily support Chambers' Business & Property, and Employment teams.

Shannon joins Chambers after nine years with a respected Newcastle law firm, where she worked across Administration and Accounts, gaining wide-ranging experience in business operations and client service. These are ideal transferable skills which now support her new role in Chambers. Shannon will predominantly be focusing on Trinity's Housing, Personal Injury, and Public Law practice groups.

Outside of work, Molly enjoys fitness, music, and spending time with friends, while Shannon enjoys family time, socialising, and her new hobby of 'Clubbercise'.

Commenting on the two new joiners, Steve Walker, Lead Civil Clerk said:

"We are delighted to have Molly start her career, straight from university, at Trinity Chambers. She is a breath of fresh air in the clerk’s room, with her eager disposition and her readiness to get stuck in from day one.

Shannon’s appointment completes the newly structured Civil clerking team at Trinity Chambers. Shannon brings with her nine years of legal industry experience at one of Newcastle’s top solicitor firms and the Civil clerks are looking forward to benefitting from her knowledge and perspective gained in that role. We are delighted to have her join the team."
