Trinity Chambers' Civil and Family Clerk, Steven Preen was part of the Newcastle United's Legends team playing against Felling in the 2017 Pav Cup, a charity football match in memory of Newcastle goalkeeper, Pavel Srnicek.

The match took place at Dunston’s UTS stadium on Sunday 9th July. The Legends team included Paul Gascoigne, who was joined by former Newcastle players Peter Beardsley, Darren Peacock, Keith Gillespie, Steve Howey and Steve Harper.

Newcastle Legends won 7-1, with a hat-trick from Keith Gillespie and goals from Steve Harper, Paul Robinson and Peter Beardsley. Tony Clarke scored for Felling.

Steven Preen, who played centre forward in the charity match, previously played for Gateshead and Dunston and maintains his passion for the game by coaching Newcastle City Juniors Milan Under 16's, sponsored by Trinity Chambers.
