On Wednesday 22nd September 2021, barristers from Trinity's Business & Property team will be guest speakers at a free Cancer Research UK CPD webinar, covering a range of Inheritance and Probate dispute related topics.
James Kemp will be discussing Executors and their removal. His session explores the duties of Executors, together with the legislative framework, Civil Procedure Rules and case law regarding their removal.
Nigel Kidwell will then cover proprietary estoppel in contested wills. Nigel will be looking at the types of proprietary estoppel, comparison with testamentary dispositions, 'donatio mortis causa' and case law.
Also speaking will be Dorothy Allan, Forensic Scientist from Keith Borer Consultants who will be exploring how forensic handwriting experts compare signatures and handwritten entries on Wills and other documents.
In addition, there will be an update from Dr Rachel Shaw of Cancer Research UK on the progress in understanding and treating Children’s & Young People’s Cancers.
