Peter Finkill-Coombs, one of Trinity’s Criminal and Regulatory barristers' clerks, has been invited by the HM Courts and Tribunal Service (HMCTS) Business Strategy and Design team to explore the implications of the planned reforms to the Court Service.
He has already attended a meeting at the Ministry of Justice offices in London and continues to liaise with the team providing practical and pragmatic insight into how the proposed reforms might affect the Bar and its support network. Peter joins a range of other stakeholders selected and approached by the Ministry of Justice to provide their input into the planned changes.
Having been a clerk at Trinity Chambers for nearly 15 busy years, Peter has been able to bring valuable experience and perspective into the discussion surrounding the modernisation of the Justice System, including a significant focus on the use of technology.
