From September 2016, Trinity Criminal Law Silk, Francis FitzGibbon Q.C. becomes the Chair of the Criminal Bar Association (CBA) which represents about 4000 criminal barristers in England and Wales.

One of Francis FitzGibbon's first engagements in his new role included appearing on the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire show on Thursday 15 September to discuss the Ministry of Justice's planned court reforms to allow vulnerable victims of crime and witnesses to pre-record their evidence avoiding the trauma of giving evidence in open court.
