Trinity Criminal Silk, Francis FitzGibbon Q.C. will be delivering a seminar to members of the Tees Valley Law Society on the evening of 3rd February 2015.

This is the first Criminal Law seminar delivered by the Tees Valley Law Society to solicitor members in over a decade. Francis FitzGibbon Q.C. will cover the following topics:-

  • A hint of fairness in confiscation (R v Fields & Ahmad)
  • Offences by jurors  (Criminal Justice & Courts Act Bill 2014)
  • Goodbye ASBOs, hello injunctions & criminal behaviour orders (Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014)

Francis FitzGibbon Q.C. became a criminal barrister in 1986, and took Silk in 2010. He specialises in criminal law (including white collar crime) and immigration. He is particularly well-known for his handling of homicide cases which involve complex causation issues, or manslaughter by gross negligence; drug trafficking cases and cases of high profile fraud.

Francis FitzGibbon Q.C. is a member of Trinity Chambers' CriminalRegulatory and Immigration practice groups.
