As part of their ongoing series of update talks, on the evening of Thursday 24th July 2025 members of Trinity's Criminal and Regulatory team will be delivering a live stream webinar entitled:
"Confiscation - The Aftermath" - Enforcement and Reconsideration of Confiscation Orders Explained
Trinity barristers, Josh Normanton and Shada Mellor will present a practical and interactive online seminar which tackles the stages after confiscation orders are made. Topics covered include:
- Enforcement methods beyond default sentences, including payment orders and seized property orders;
- Protecting the interests of third parties at the enforcement stage;
- Management and Enforcement receivers; and
- Reconsideration, variation and discharge of orders.
The talks are likely to appeal to both criminal and civil practitioners because of the impact of confiscation orders made under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) 2002 on defendants as well as the assets of third parties.
The event is ONLINE ONLY with the talks commencing from 5.30pm and concluding with a Q&A session by 7.00pm.
To book a place please email liam@trinitychambers.co.uk who will provide a link and joining instructions.
