Trinity Employment, Business & Property Barrister, James McHugh will be a guest speaker at a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) North East Branch Webinar taking place between 4pm and 5pm on the evening of Thursday 14th May.
The webinar session entitled “Getting the Inside Track” is aimed at the region's HR professionals and is the first of a series to provide support and resources to the sector with contributions from a range of specialist areas and experts.
This first event will be a panel discussion including senior operational leaders from across a range of sectors. They will share their thoughts and insight around the impact of coronavirus to date and what lies ahead for business in the UK and further afield. James will be exploring the employment law challenges facing businesses during the COVID - 19 crisis, including issues surrounding furlough and the Government's Job Retention Scheme.
