Recognising the cost and time saving benefits of Alternative Dispute Resolution several barristers at Trinity Chambers have undertaken specialist mediation training enabling them to sit as Mediators in Civil/Commercial and Family cases. In turn, Trinity are now launching a formal Mediation Group.
Whilst many of the barristers at Trinity represent clients at Mediation hearings across the majority of Trinity’s practice areas, barristers in the Mediation Group are qualified to sit as Mediators. In addition, with its extensive facilities in both Newcastle and Teesside Trinity are able to hold Mediations in Chambers.
The qualified Mediators are Andrew Stafford Q.C., Kevin Crawley, Christopher Mitford, Claire Brissenden and Richard Stubbs.
Members of the Mediation Group can deal with a wide range of practice areas including ancillary relief, family disputes, commercial disputes, property disputes, landlord and tenant, commercial leases, neighbour disputes as well as personal injury, professional negligence, contentious probate and trusts.
The launch of the Group and the members extensive commitment to becoming Mediators reflects Trinity’s responsiveness to an ever changing legal market and in particular the needs of Chambers' clients.
