Trinity Modern Chancery Issues Seminar - 8 February 2024, Carlisle

Trinity's Civil team are pleased to announce the first talk in Chambers' Cumbrian 'Wisdom with Wine' Seminar Programme which will take place on the evening of Thursday 8 February 2024 in Carlisle.

These lectures, which are also being delivered at Trinity's Chambers in Newcastle, will provide both an update on recent case law and practical guidance on issues relevant to all those practising in ChanceryBusiness and Property Law. A glass of wine (or soft drink) will be available to enjoy during these talks. These evening talks are designed to complement Trinity's annual Business and Property Conference.

The first session is entitled:
Modern Chancery Issues (Those Jarndyces thought they had it bad)

The speakers and topics are as follows:

  • James Kemp - The Impact of Gender Reassignment on Gifts in Wills
  • Henry Stevens - “Accidents Will Occur in the Best-Regulated Families” - 1975 Act Claims
  • Seth Kitson - Modern Skulduggery in Traditional Chancery

The free to attend event will take place at Carlisle Station Hotel, Carlisle, CA1 1QY with registration at 4.15pm and concluding by 6.30pm.
