On the evening of Monday 25th November 2024, the University of Law, Newcastle and the Newcastle University Bar Society will be jointly hosting their inaugural “Big Bar Meet Up”.
Aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students exploring a career at the region's Bar, the event will focus on ‘next steps’ following University and the Bar Practice Course (BPC).
Trinity Pupils Estelle Chambers and Amy Nerou will be attending as panel guests discussing themes surrounding ideal CVs, insight into different areas of practice, what Chambers look for and recent experiences of applying for pupillage, together with tips on how to research Chambers. The panel discussion will be followed by networking.
The event will take place in the Newcastle University Law School between 6pm and 8pm.
