Trinity's Damian Murphy will be a guest speaker at Clarion Solicitors' Commercial Litigation Masterclass to be held from 9.30am until 4pm on Thursday 5th February 2026 at their offices in Leeds.

The all day session will explore key developments in commercial dispute resolution, including costs-budgeting pilots, litigation funding reforms, and mediation. Delegates will gain an up-to-date insight into recent case law, emerging trends, and best practices in dealing with commercial disputes.

Damian will join an extensive and varied line up of speakers which includes members of Clarion's Costs and Litigation Funding Team, Counsel and a Mediator. Also contributing will be Master Kaye, Master of the Chancery Division, High Court of England & Wales. The day concludes with a panel discussion and networking drinks.

Damian's session entitled 'Almost Everyone's Guide to Electronic Disclosure in Commercial Litigation' will focus on the rapidly evolving topic of e-disclosure in commercial dispute resolution, covering relevant case law and legislation, drafting Issues for Disclosure and how to manage electronic document preservation.

Damian is a leading lawyer in this area, having previously run the electronic disclosure element of a major competition law action and also having worked at UBS as eDiscovery counsel and head of eDiscovery for EMEA and APAC. He then joined a large eDiscovery consultancy where he led projects including the development of electronic disclosure programmes for large multinationals. Since returning to the Bar, Damian's electronic disclosure work has been a core part of his practice and he is currently the lead junior responsible for the electronic disclosure in a large shareholder dispute. He regularly provides training and lectures to lawyers on electronic disclosure under the Civil Procedure Rules.

The free to attend event will take place at Clarion's offices, Elizabeth House, 13-19 Queen Street, Leeds, LS1 2TW. For further details and to book, visit here.
