Trinity Criminal barrister, Ian Windridge, has secured the conviction of a Bradford man for sexual offences against a child, following a trial and sentencing hearing held at Newcastle Crown Court.
After being found guilty of eight offences which took place between 1997 and 2003 in Bradford, Kevin Low, 62, was given a 19-year sentence, placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life and given a lifetime restraining order.
The victim, who was a teenager at the time of the offences, came forward to police in 2021 and her reports were investigated by the Bradford Safeguarding Unit.
Ian Windridge was instructed by the prosecution during both the trial and the sentencing of Mr Low. Ian is a Grade 3 Prosecutor and member of the CPS Rape and Serious Sexual Offences (RaSSO) Panel.
