Trinity Regulatory and Criminal barrister, Josh Normanton will be a guest speaker at the Cannabis Business Expo & Conference to be held between 19th and 21st September 2024 in Dortmund, Germany.
As part of the International Cannabis Bar Association Stage's programme of events, on 20th September Josh will be contributing to a discussion entitled:
'Marketing and Advertising in the European Cannabis Sector: A Time for Courage'.
As the European cannabis industry market grows, both in medical and adult-use/recreational sectors, the session will consider what lessons can be learned from the well-established cannabis industry marketing and advertising in North America & Canada, what marketing endeavours have already been successful in Europe, and the risks involved in engaging in aggressive promotional activities. Josh will provide an up to date legal perspective on the debate, advising on the risk of regulatory intervention in relation to such marketing campaigns.
