Trinity's Kate Fenwick, Led by Charlotte Worsley K.C., Appears in the High Court

Charlotte Worsley K.C. and Trinity Family barrister, Kate Fenwick, instructed by Katrina Pescott of Ben Hoare Bell Solicitors, were the team representing the subject child, a teenager with complex mental health issues.

The Court was seised of a number of complex and contested applications made by the parents including: application to discharge the Care Order on the basis of Local Authority failings, application to make the child a Ward of Court, application for injunctive relief against the Local Authority, application to refuse contact and an application for Deprivation of Liberty authorisations.

In addition to those applications, there was also a dispute over the diagnostic moniker attached to the child.

Trinity barristers Tory Putnam and Timothy Spain also acted in the case. Tory Putnam, led by Aidan Vine K.C., appeared for the Local Authority and Timothy Spain, led by Nicholas Stonor K.C., appeared for the Mother.
