Nicola Bowker is the latest barrister to join Trinity's busy Family law team.
Called in 2012, and originally from the North, Nicola returns to the North Eastern Circuit having worked previously in London and at a leading family law Chambers on the Western Circuit.
Nicola's practice covers all aspects of family law with a particular focus on private law children matters, including proceedings under Part IV of the Family Law Act 1996, internal relocation cases and cases involving international and jurisdictional issues.
Nicola is regularly instructed at all stages of public law proceedings from interim hearings to multi-day final hearings on behalf of Local Authorities, parents and children.
Nicola has experience of representing vulnerable adults, including those with severe learning disabilities and those assessed as needing an intermediary.
Given Nicola's practice, she is regularly instructed by both applicants and respondents at all stages of injunctive relief proceedings.
With an interest in alternative dispute resolution, Nicola is an ADR Group Accredited Civil & Commercial Mediator.
