Trinity's members and staff warmly welcome experienced Social Housing and Court of Protection barrister, Gary Willock on joining Chambers.
Before being called to the Bar in 2012, Gary practised as a Solicitor for ten years for a local authority and then in private practice exclusively for social landlords. Gary deals with a wide range of social housing litigation and landlord and tenant disputes. Areas of particular expertise include all types of possession claims, unlawful eviction, anti-social behaviour, issues surrounding capacity, 'hoarding' cases, Human Rights, the Equality Act, disrepair, and housing related public law, including Judicial Review.
Acting for P, local authorities and family members, Gary also regularly deals with Court of Protection instructions including section 21A DoLS challenges and personal welfare applications.
Recognised by clients for his approachability and pragmatic advice, Gary is readily available to his clients for advice, drafting, conferences and early tactical discussions by telephone.
