On the evening of Saturday 13th April 2019, Trinity barrister, Richard Stubbs took to the ring as part of a black-tie charity boxing event in support of Stroke North East.
The charity boxing night, organised by local fitness trainers F.I.T Club, took place at Newcastle’s Civic Centre, Barras Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Richard is the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Stroke North East, a local charity helping stroke survivors with their rehabilitation through a series of group days out. Supported by his fellow Trinity barristers, the judges unanimously gave each of the three gruelling rounds to Richard with the match raising over £2000 for the charity.
Outside of the boxing ring, Richard is a member of Trinity’s Employment, Business and Property teams. He is also an accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator.
