Following its recent move into Leeds, Trinity Chambers was delighted to sponsor student prizes at Leeds Beckett University Law School for the academic year.
The winners have now been announced with the Trinity Chambers Prize for Advocacy LLB being awarded to students Lauren Pearson and Jasmine Cottage.
Module leader at Leeds Law School, Sorcha McCormack said of the students' achievements:
‘Both Jasmine and Lauren were very engaged with the module. Each week they listened and learned from their feedback, and came to class knowledgeable and prepared. Their advocacy is superb. Their delivery is controlled, articulate and persuasive and I have no doubt they will excel at the bar.’
The Trinity prizes were announced as part of Leeds Law School's annual prize giving following the conclusion of the 2019/20 academic year. The awards recognise the next generation of legal professionals for their hard work and academic success.
Deveral Capps, Dean of Leeds Law School said of the awards:
“I am delighted with the success of our undergraduate and postgraduate students and would like to congratulate everyone who has won a prize this year in recognition of their hard work and all that they have achieved. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our prize sponsors for their support. I wish all of our winners the very best and have no doubt they will go far in whatever they may choose to do.”
