Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions Article Featured in The Barrister Magazine

Trinity's Shada Mellor has written an article that has been published in the Hilary Term 2021 edition of The Barrister Magazine.

In the article, entitled "Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions (ASBIs): A New Practitioner’s Perspective", Shada explores the challenges caused by the gaps she has found as a newly qualified barrister when navigating the ASBI regime, implemented by the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

In the article, Shada highlights the difficulties caused by a lack of a framework for the inclusion of positive requirements in ASBIs and the absence of a penalty guideline in the event of breach.

Shada is a member of Trinity's Criminal, Regulatory, Housing and Licensing teams.

The full article can be found here (pages 27 & 28).
