Key Employment Appeal Decision

Trinity barrister Richard Stubbs was part of the successful Appellant team in the case of S Brownbill and Others -v- St. Helens and Knowsley Hospital NHS Trust [2010] UK EAT/0074/10/CEA. The previous decision that unsociable hour enhancements did not represent a separate, less favourable term for the purposes of comparison under the Equal Pay Act 1970 was successfully over turned at the EAT.
