Silk Appointment For Trinity Criminal & Regulatory Barrister


Trinity Criminal and Regulatory barrister, Caroline Goodwin is to be appointed Queen's Counsel.

The appointment of Queen's Counsel reflects excellence in advocacy and follows an extensive application and interview process. Appointments are made by Her Majesty The Queen on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, Elizabeth Truss, following consideration by the independent Queen’s Counsel Selection Panel.

The new Queen’s Counsel will formally become Silks when they make their declaration before the Lord Chancellor at the ceremony on Monday 13 February 2017 at Westminster Hall.

As well as being a senior Criminal and Regulatory advocate, Caroline has been a Crown Court Recorder since 2010. Caroline is a member of Trinity's Criminal, Regulatory and Licensing practice groups.
