Silk Appointment For Trinity Family and Court of Protection Barrister
Trinity Child Care, Family and Court of Protection barrister, Nicholas Stonor is to be appointed Queen's Counsel. The appointment of Queen's Counsel reflects excellence in advocacy and follows an extensive application and interview process.
Appointments are made by Her Majesty The Queen on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, Chris Grayling MP, following consideration by the independent Queen’s Counsel Selection Panel. The Silk ceremony will take place on Monday 16th February 2015.
Nicholas heads up Trinity's Family team and is a member of Chambers' Court of Protection practice group. Nicholas was recently recognised in Chambers UK 2015:- "Demonstrates specialist expertise in cases that have particularly complex medical components to the evidence. He frequently acts on behalf of guardians and family members, and is praised for his ability to establish an easy rapport with his clients.
