Trinity Barrister Speaker at Institution of Occupational Safety & Health Meeting


On Thursday 16th November 2017 Employment and Personal Injury barrister, James McHugh will be delivering a talk to the members of the Tyne and Wear branch of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH).

The event, entitled "Getting Your Ducks in a Row; steps to take when dealing with workplace stress", is aimed at Health and Safety and HR Professionals and Managers from a wide range of the North East Region's industry sectors.The session will give practical advice about managing workplace wellbeing. James' contribution is new to the IOSH programme, providing practical advice from a specialist employment and personal injury law perspective on how to prevent and/or manage the possibility of litigation.

Joining James will be Carl Hagemann, Safety and Licensing Team Manager, Glasgow 2018 European Championships and Susanne Nichol from Better Health at Work Awards North East.

The event starts at 12.15pm, concluding at 3.30pm and takes place at the Nissan Sports and Leisure Complex, Washington Road, Sunderland, SR5 3NS.
