Employment, Business & Property 2019 Seminar Programme

Hosted at Trinity Chambers, The Custom House, Quayside, Trinity Chambers is delighted to announce its upcoming programme of Employment, Business and Property seminars.

These seminars are designed to provide both an update of recent case law and practical guidance on issues relevant to all those practising in employment, commercial, company and property law. Six seminars will be delivered between February and October 2019 offering a total of 9 hours of accredited training. Early booking is advised, as places are limited.

Whistleblowing: where are we now - Jane will examine the current Issues occupying employment tribunals and the upper courts in this area of law. She will draw on her considerable experience to highlight the potential bear traps litigants may face.

Jamie Anderson
Sexual Harassment in 2019: Strategies when acting for Claimants and Respondents - Jamie will look at the strategies that can be pursued in successfully acting for claimants and respondents in the Employment Tribunal. The talk will draw upon his experience acting for successful parties and the kind of points that are likely to find most favour with the Tribunal.

Andrew Crammond
Disability Discrimination: how to pursue, defend and manage claims - This talk will look at some difficult areas of disability discrimination law, whether acting for claimant or respondent, and how parties might deal with the same. It will also consider the case management of such claims in the Employment Tribunal and how parties might achieve success. Andrew has much experience in advising and representing clients, both claimant and respondent, in disability discrimination claims and will seek to use his experience of the same to provide both legal and practical tips in achieving success.
