Trinity Chambers' Criminal barristers and Silks wish to make it clear that they will not accept Very High Cost Cases (VHCC) at the new reduced rates.

The Legal Aid Agency has apparently recently distributed a list of counsel who are accredited to undertake VHCC, including barristers (Juniors and Silks) from Trinity Chambers. By being on this list there is a suggestion that the reduced VHCC rates have been accepted which is not in fact the position. The Criminal team at Trinity Chambers continue to reject the new VHCC terms.
