Barristers from Trinity Chambers' Child Care team delivered 2 mirror training events, the first held on Monday 28th May took place in Teesside at the Middlesbrough Teaching and Learning Centre; the second was held on Wednesday 30th May in Newcastle at Northumbria University's Law School.

The events attracted over 150 attendees in total. The seminars were aimed at solicitors specialising in public and private Child Care law with a view to providing practical a review and guidance on challenges regularly faced by practitioners.

The seminars were delivered by barristers from Trinity Chambers' Family Law Practice Group and each attracted 2 hours CPD. Tim Spain and Brian Mather provided a general update on the public and private law aspects of Children Law. John O’Sullivan then covered Incapacitated Parents in the Family court. Head of Trinity Chambers' Family Law Practice Group, Nicholas Stonor concluded with a talk entitled "What a Tweet: The Perils of Social Media in Children’s Cases".
